Cardiopulmonary Physiotheraphist

Rashida is an experienced cardiopulmonary physiotherapist with 10 years of expertise across both clinical and multidisciplinary hospital settings. She has worked extensively with patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), as well as in the Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Units (NICU & PICU), offering comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Rashida’s specialization lies in treating patients recovering from cardiac events, such as post-PTCA (Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty), bypass surgery, valve replacement, as well as managing acute and chronic pulmonary conditions like COPD, fibrosis, asthma, pneumonia, and post-COVID recovery. She also has significant experience in managing heart failure patients.

Her professional journey includes working at prestigious institutions like SL Raheja Hospital, Mahim, and Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre, Bandra. Additionally, Rashida has served as a tele-rehabilitation therapist at Pratibha Prabhakar Rehabilitation Centre, where she played a pivotal role in developing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and program guidelines for their Tele pulmonary Rehabilitation program.
